Project Description


Since launching early 2016, WECREATE | KENYA has coached and mentored over 1,500+ women business builders. This U.S. State Department-funded project in partnership with African Women Entrepreneurship Program (AWEP), the Global Women’s Initiative (GWI) and Caterpillar Foundation is pioneering economic empowerment as a way to address gender based violence and other gender issues throughout Kenya. Our work includes:

  • Government relationship and partnership development
  • Private sector relationship and partnership development
  • StartUp Cup women centric Mentor and Master Mentor training and certification
  • Training and development of men and boys to become champions of female entrepreneurs
  • Graphically facilitated organizational and entrepreneurial ecosystem design and development convening’s
  • Development of a women centric Entrepreneur Mentor Network
