Project Description
Since launching early 2016, WECREATE | KENYA has coached and mentored over 1,500+ women business builders. This U.S. State Department-funded project in partnership with African Women Entrepreneurship Program (AWEP), the Global Women’s Initiative (GWI) and Caterpillar Foundation is pioneering economic empowerment as a way to address gender based violence and other gender issues throughout Kenya. Our work includes:
- Government relationship and partnership development
- Private sector relationship and partnership development
- StartUp Cup women centric Mentor and Master Mentor training and certification
- Training and development of men and boys to become champions of female entrepreneurs
- Graphically facilitated organizational and entrepreneurial ecosystem design and development convening’s
- Development of a women centric Entrepreneur Mentor Network

- Entrepreneurial ecosystem design and development
- Capacity building and organizational development of partner business service providers
- GriffinWorx business building program training and development
