A week ago, StartUp Cup received what we consider some of the most fantastic press coverage of our efforts around the world to date.  US Ambassador to Pakistan Richard G. Olson was featured as the keynote speaker at the Pakistan StartUp Cup awards ceremony at the Marriott Islamabad Hotel.  Mr. Olson discussed the US government’s commitment to increase opportunities for entrepreneurs in Pakistan:

“We believe Pakistan’s future prosperity will be determined by the success of innovative and fast-growing companies. When entrepreneurs here in Pakistan succeed, they create economic opportunity not only for Pakistanis, but for people all over the world, including the United States,”
